What is Parade Day?
The Greater CWC Chamber of Commerce began hosting the community’s beloved Holiday Parade of Lights in 1981. Since then, 12th St., connecting our two major municipalities, has hosted thousands of locals and visitors to see our nighttime parade of lights.
The Greater CWC Chamber wanted to ensure the parade was put on for an even bigger purpose, and that was to highlight the local business community. We created what we call “Parade Day” - encouraging our locals and visitors to not only visit the Greater CWC community for the Holiday Parade of Lights, but to stay all day or for the weekend, enjoying all that our businesses has to offer. This longtime community event is the perfect time to support our local small business community! Come stay for the weekend in The Greater CWC!
